Located less than 5 minutes from the central Kerikeri township, Kerikeri Plant Production is a family owned and operated business run by a dedicated team of experienced propagators and nursery assistants. The team, many of whom have been with the business for a number of years are passionate about which species are grown and the quality of plants produced.  

Originally started in Kohukohu 30 years ago, the business has been operating in Kerikeri for the last 20 years where it supplies the local and surrounding Northland communities, as well as nurseries in Whangarei, Mangawhai, Matakana, Kaiwaka, Auckland, Tauranga, Napier, Hamilton and as far south as Westport.

We aim to grow a diverse range of native trees and flaxes, including ferns from spores. We focus on species that grow well in Northland and the outer islands. The nursery is predominantly wholesale, however we do have a retail element. The wholesale side supplies GOL's to other nurseries, and mature plants to landscapers and revegetation projects. We also welcome customers who require smaller numbers of plants for domestic plantings to purchase on site from our retail store. Whilst specialising in natives, we do produce a limited range of exotic trees and plants suitable for Northland conditions.
