Kerikeri Plant Production has been offering quality plants for the last 30 years, originally in Kohukohu, and then for the last 20 years in Kerikeri.
Our Nursery has a dedicated team of experienced propagators and nursery assistants, many of whom have been with the business for a number of years. We source the majority of our seed stock from local trees, and also grow from cuttings and spores, ensuring that genetic quality can be maintained.
The attention to detail through hand propagation allows for the highest quality of plants.
We work with Wholesale, Trade and Retail customers and welcome the opportunity to see you on site or talk with you about your planting needs.

Kerikeri Plant Production supplies plant nurseries across the top of the North Island with GOL plants for their own stock. We grow a wide range of NZ Natives from seeds, seedlings, cuttings and spores. We specialise in hard to grow natives like Rewarewa (Knightia excelsa), Puriri (Vitex lucens), Rimu (Dacrydium cupressinum), Kohekohe (Dysoxylum spectabile), Putaputaweta (Carpodetus serratus) and many more including a wide selection of ferns.
Our nursery currently creates in excess of quarter of a million plants per year from GOL size 5/7cm tubes through to 2L, 3L and 5L pots and the larger PB12 size bags. With this sort of volume we are able to supply to large scale projects including revegetation and riparian programmes, as well as wetland reclamation and subdivision developments. We work with Landscapers, Landscape Architects and Developers to supply their project vision. We recommend that you talk to us as early as possible in your project planning as some species can take over a year to grow and we want to help you keep your project on track and within budget.
